Ride Check-in

All registered riders must check-in prior to the ride to get their rider number and swag bag. You may check-in one of two ways:

  • Pre-Ride Check-In: Thursday, September 7, 9 am – 7:30 pm at the Missoula Symphony Office, located at 320 East Main Street in Missoula. You may have someone else pick up your packet for you. Let’s celebrate the Ovando Gran Fondo with a gathering of riders and friends at the Missoula Symphony Office from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. We will B-Q some Brats and have some cold beer on tap. Free for riders $5.00 guest.
  • Ride Day Check-In: Saturday, September 9, 6:30 – 8 am at the Ovando School, 108 Birch Street in Ovando (this is the starting location headquarters).
  • Note: You must meet your $75 fundraising minimum before check-in or we will collect it from you (or whoever’s checking-in on your behalf) before we give you your rider number and swag bag.

Course Start and Close Times

The ride starts at 8 am, and all riders must depart no later than 9 am. The course closes at 5 pm. Riders who haven’t finished by this time will be picked up by SAG. See the Route Info tab for information on challenge loop closings.

Food

We will keep you fed, watered and comfortable during the ride with water and energy stops along the route. We’ll start you off with a hot breakfast, provide a buffet lunch and finish the day with cold beverages and dinner.See the Route Info tab for further details.

Support

We will provide all the support you and your bicycle need, with plenty of aid stations and signage along the way. Plus, a team of SAG wagons, first-aid providers, ride-along mechanics and escorts ensures your safety.

Photography

A professional photographer will handle rider photography during the event. Photos are available for purchase from the photographer’s website.

Safety

All riders are required to wear an ANSI-approved helmet. Portions of the ride are on public roads not closed to cars, so please be careful, especially when crossing Highway 200.
